Insurance and death benefits: In the event of a foreign fighter’s death, their relatives (parents, children, or legal spouse) are guaranteed to receive basic federal payments totaling 14,208,154.28 rubles (169,315 US dollars) from the Russian Federation. These payments are officially mandated by the laws of the Russian Federation (Presidential Decree No. 98; Federal Law No. 306-FZ on Monetary Allowances for Military Personnel; and Federal Law No. 52-FZ on Mandatory State Insurance).
